History
of Mordarth
Mordarth was created in 2002 by Ray
‘Spectre’ Bordier. The name Mordarth translates
through the various Tolkien languages to ‘The Realm
of Shadow and Darkness’. Its founding members were
Lordan, Basher, Cryptic, Talon and Spectre. About 6 months
after it’s creation, Mordarth gathered together all
the remaining members of the Kingdom of Sukanar (the first
unit ever in Taurendor), a Kingdom of Darkness, to increase
its numbers to be the largest unit ever in the realm.
For about two and a half years Mordarth
conquered the realm of Taurendor, winning most every important
scenario and deciding the fate of the realm through the
story line of the realm.
In this time, Mordarth became known
as the ‘evil’ element in the realm of Taurendor
for it’s basis of storyline, but that is said to just
be a vicious rumor perpetrated by the vile speech of the
Paladins of Millennia.
In the beginning of 2005, Ray ‘Spectre’
Bordier decided to disband Mordarth for a short time, with
it’s attendance lacking and there being no set vision
for the future of the unit, and to focus more on being a
Chapter Representative of the realm. Within the next 6 months,
while doing work as a Chapter Representative, Spectre talked
with all the former members of Mordarth to discuss reuniting
the unit, and what they wanted to see happen with Mordarth.
After these discussions, a symbol and color scheme were
chosen, and the heart of Mordarth was founded and made new
once more.
Now, Mordarth stands, still one of
the largest forces in Taurendor, wearing purple and black
and sporting the knightly gauntlet of knights as its emblem.
